Mustang Sub-Frame
Dry fitting the sub-frame components. This should be done on a four post lift as it can be difficult to load the frame on a two post lift.
Mark and clean areas to be welded
Bending the sub-frame braces to match the car
Fit seat brackets to fit flush
Tack weld
Fitting drive shaft safety loop
Drive shaft loop welded to sub-frame
We prefer not to attach drive shaft loops to body panels.
Exhaust clearance
All pre-fit was with exhaust.
Sub-Frame Done
Per the instructions, don’t weld the leading or trailing edges of the reinforcement tubes.
