Santa Fe Garage Services specializes in precision and performance alignments, tire and wheel balancing and high performance suspension work. Our experienced team uses the latest in computer technology and state of the art equipment from Hunter Engineering. All installed wheel assemblies are tightened by hand to factory torque specifications utilizing calibrated torque wrenches. Services are by appointment only. 	Precision Alignment We carefully check and set your car to the factory alignment specifications. On BMWs, for instance, we use the manufacture's required hub centric adapters. For all alignments, weight is added to simulate a driver and passenger in the front seats. Alignment work is performed using the Hunter Engineering R811P system. 	Performance Alignment A performance alignment optimizes your car's handling for your chosen environment; track, autocross, or performance street. We will use your specifications or provide a suggested specification based on car usage and tire selection. All performance alignments are done with weight added to the car to simulate a driver. We offer the options of checking and setting ride height, corner weights and bump steer. Alignment work is performed using the Hunter Engineering R811P system. 	Tire and Wheel Balancing Proper tire/wheel balance reduces vibration. Vibration, in addition to irritating the driver and passengers, causes premature wear of tires, struts, shocks and other suspension components. We offer Road Force Balancing using a Hunter Engineering GPS9723-05 machine. Road Force Balancing simulates the vehicle's weighted tire on the road and measures the run-out and irregularities of the tire and wheel independently and together. Corrections are made to reduce harmonics and run-out. A printout of the tire and wheel assembly conditions can be provided. Nitrogen filling is available. 	Tire Mounting Tire mounting services are provided using the Hunter Engineering TC3500 internal rim clamp machine. This equipment is also used for indexing the tire and wheel assemblies as indicated by the Road Force Balancing operation. This machine is designed to minimize the potential risk of damage to performance and alloy wheels.
